International Women’s Day 2022

On March 5th, 2022, Saturday, the NWGN CA Chapter celebrated its 112th International Women’s Day celebration via Zoom. The theme for this year’s observance is “Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow”. This was the 2nd year we celebrated the program through Zoom which was a grand success with everyone’s help and support. The program had multiple guest speakers including  Gender and Media expert/journalism educator Dr. Samikshya Koirala, Psychologist Dr. Chori Laxmi Maharjan, and our Keynote Speaker Tv journalist and Gender Analyst Aarti Chataut. It was a true honor to have Bay Area community leaders, other organization leaders, and all the participants who joined us through Zoom and Facebook Live.
