San Francisco, CA – The Nepalese Women’s Global Network California Chapter (NWGN CA Chapter) is proud to announce its celebration of International Women’s Day 2023 on March 12th. The event will be held at the Berkeley Adult School and will begin at 4:00 pm.
International Women’s Day is celebrated globally on March 8th, and the celebration of IWD has been an annual tradition of the NWGN CA Chapter since its inception in 2012. The organization, a non-profit women-led group in the San Francisco Bay Area, is dedicated to supporting the growth and development of Nepalese women by providing financial, emotional, and social support.
This year’s event, themed “DigitALL: Innovation and Technology for Gender Equality” #EmbraceEquity, will feature presentations by influential speakers who have made a remarkable contribution to the Nepali community. Bay Area artists will also be showcasing their creativity through a cultural event.
Attendance at the event will help support the empowerment of Nepalese women in the community. Ticket prices are $20.00, and children under 11 are free. There are several tier sponsorship donation options, including Silver ($200 and up), Gold ($300 and up), Platinum ($500), and Diamond ($1,000). All financial support and contributions are highly appreciated and will be used for activities related to women’s empowerment.
The NWGN CA Chapter encourages the community to join in this celebration of International Women’s Day and support the empowerment of Nepalese women.
